Ingredients for stuffed tomato curry
Oil-2tbsp
Cumin seeds-3/4th tsp
Mustard seeds-1tsp
Asafoetida-a pinch
Tomato-3 medium sized
Onion-1 (crushed)
Green chilli-1(finely chopped)
Ginger-1 inch
Turmeric powder-3/4 th tsp
Coriander powder-1tsp
Red chilli powder-1tsp
Garam masala-1/4th tsp
Salt-1/2 tsp
Curd-250ml
Coriander leaves-1tbsp
For stuffing
Potato-3(boiled & mashed)
Red chilli powder-1tsp
Salt-1tsp
Coriander powder-1tsp
Turmeric powder-1tsp
How to make stuffed tomato curry
1-Take 3 medium sized and firm tomatoes.
2-Remove their pulp and make them hollow.
3-Slightly chop their top portions and remove theur pulp.
4-Take 3 boiled potato and mashed it.
5-Add 1 tsp red chilli powder,1 tsp salt,1 tsp coriander powder &1/2 tsp turmeric powder & mix well & stuffing is ready.
6-Stuff the tomato by adding the stuffing in it .
7-Stuff all the tomatoes likewise.
8-Pre-heat the pan and add 2 teaspoons of oil in it and heat it.
9-Add a 1/4th teaspoon of cumin seeds to it and saute it.
10-Add 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds and a pinch of asafoetida and saute it.
11-Add chopped onions,green chilli and ginger and saute it.
12-Add 250ml curd and stir continously.
13-Add a 1/2 tsp red chilli powder,a 1/2 tsp of salt,a 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder,a 1/2 tsp of coriander powder and a 1/2 tsp of garam masala and stir continously until oil separates from it and colour becomes changes of gravy.
14-The gravy has cooked for 4 minutes
15-Add the stuffed tomatoes in it.
16-Mix tomatoes with the gravy.
17-Again ,cook it on the low flame for 3-4 min.
18-The curry has cooked so pour it in a bowl and garnish with finely chopped green coriander.
19-The tomato stuffed gravy is ready to be served.
