What Can it Detect?

The F2 is ideal for detecting Coins, Jewelry & Relics and with the stylish S shaped design of the unit allows for comfortable handling that will not feel heavy after prolonged use. The F2 is a good all round detector and is recommended for Beach, Relic and Coin hunting.

Lightweight

Weighing in at only 2.6 pounds the F2 Fisher metal detector is light enough for even the youngest treasure hunter to hold comfortably.

Has a good LCD display the provides useful information about whether an object is worth recovering. It has a 8 concentric all purpose coil that can give pin point accuracy with good ground coverage. The pinpoint mode can be activated very easily and when set will allow you to see the depth of the object that you have identified on the display.

Has a 4 tone Audio Sounds

Lowest Tone - Will detect iron objects

Low - Medium - Items include ring pulls, small coins, bottle caps and small gold jewelry.

Medium - Zinc, lead and larger gold jewelry

High - Will detect silver, copper and clad coins.

Fast Response

The fast, sensitive target response via a digital display will identify a probable object. Using a range from 0 for ferrous objects such as iron to 99 for conductive objects like coins.

Metal Detector Headphones

Metal detector headphones designed by fisher are also available for the F2 (not included) but as it has a standard ¼ stereo headphone jack any standard stereo headphones can be used instead. Using headphones will actually extend the life of the battery.

Includes two 9 volt alkaline batteries and on the visual display there is an icon that tells you how much battery power you have left.

The F2 was designed as a good all round detector that offers both performance and extra features not normally found on a detector in this price range.
