There are no two to three piece BFS rods available in the US at all! It is insane to me because it has been so popular this year with the Curado BFS joining the market and all the new Chinese BFS reels. If you want a BFS rod that is affordable here in the states you have to choose the Shimano Sensilite but it will only cast down to a 1/16oz bait and it is ONE piece! Old18 has some really nice rods but the cheapest one is always sold out and it is still $150.
This time I had to go to AliExpress. This is actually why I downloaded the app in the first place and it led me down a rabbit hole, haha. I ordered multiple BFS rods and none of them made it to my house. I was always able to get my money back but it has been 3 months since I got my Curado BFS reel and I have not had a rod. I bought a $5 Zebco Hotcast at Walmart because it had the ability to cast down to 1/16 oz. and it did its job getting me into the BFS world, but this rod is so much better.
It is almost 6 feet long and has a mod/fast tip. It can cast down to a 0.8g bait and is light. It has a good length handle and the reel seat lets you palm the reel nicely. It is 3 pieces so it is easy to transport and I am really happy with it.

I ordered it on 9-10 and it got here on 10-1. That's less than a month! The other SGang rods that I ordered got here fast as well.
