Adani Group, a leading Indian multinational conglomerate, has invested $442 million in a wind power project in Sri Lanka. The project involves the construction of three wind power plants with a combined capacity of 350 MW. The wind turbines will be located in the Mannar Island region of Sri Lanka, which has strong wind resources.

The project is expected to generate clean energy to power around 200,000 homes and reduce the country's dependence on fossil fuels. It is also expected to create job opportunities and promote sustainable development in Sri Lanka.
