The WMATA Money Train making a pit stop at Federal Center SW. Transit was collecting the fare payments at this station looks like and loading the money into the cars. Cars were Breda 2068-2069 and Alstom 6182-6183. These are some of the only legacy fleets running as of right now during the pandemic because of the HVAC system equipped on the older cars are a higher risk of operators catching COVID-19 compared to the 7000 series which has a lower risk HVAC system. Also it’s easier for the 7000s to be cleaned compared to older cars.
