Sky News host Gary Hardgrave says the closure of Australia's largest coal-fired power station will have a "big impact".
This comes as Origin Energy has announced it will close the New South Wales Eraring station in 2025, seven years early.
"Origin Energy, I think, have slipped their moorings on this," Mr Hardgrave said.
"This is going to have a big impact - Labor Party though are saying 'oh well, it's all the Liberals' fault'.
"I think they're protesting their innocence a bit too much there."
