Sputnik V will now be available in India soon after confirmation from the Central government was passed on. Amid the ongoing COVID crisis and the crunch in vaccine supply, the introduction of the third vaccine is likely to boost up the vaccination drive in India. The price of Sputnik V has also been made public and the vaccine will be available at Rs 995/ dose. The first dose of Sputnik was administered today in Hyderabad in a soft launch, and it is expected that the price of the vaccine will come down. Sputnik V is also priced higher when compared with the other two vaccines that India has been administering till now.
