A young black man named Rice accidentally found the autobiography written by boxing champion "Hurricane" Reuben Carter in prison at a used book market, and began to be interested in his story. Reuben was born in a poor family. When he was young, he hated evil and had a grudge with the local white police. Later, he became famous in the boxing world because of his outstanding skills and was nicknamed "Hurricane". After that, he participated in the Vietnam War and became an honorary officer.
