Cape Town Mayor Geordin Hill-Lewis and Santaco’s Western Cape chairperson Mandla Hermanus attended an interfaith prayer service calling for a peaceful end to the taxi strike at St George's Cathedral on Wednesday.
After the service ended, members of the provincial EFF loudly chanted: "JP Smith must fall" and "Bring back the taxis" inside the church.
