Israel's military says it has struck several targets in Yemen linked to Houthi militants.
Among the targets was the main airport of the capital, Sana'a, as well as power stations and ports along the country's west coast.
A Houthi-run media outlet claims three people were killed in the attacks and a further 11 were injured.
The head of the World Health Organization was preparing to board a plane in Sana'a with UN colleagues when the attack began.
