Eleven months ago I replaced a faulty switch in my microwave oven. I had ordered a similar replacement SPST NO and also an inexpensive bag of SPDT switches. I ended up using one of the SPDT microswitches as the other took several days to get here. That switch seems to have failed so I'm back in to install the SPST NO and to diagram the switch wiring as requested by a viewer.
Note that microwave ovens have deadly high Voltage and current and a capacitor that can hold a charge even with the unit unplugged, stay out if you don't know how to safely work on such. That is why this video is in Hill's Workbench instead of HillOrStream where most simple appliance repairs go.
