Just sharing my process for syncing/dailies in Avid Media Composer. Hope this helps with your sync/prep needs. Take whatever works and make it your own.
NOTE: I noticed there's an audio delay on the screen capture, so ignore the slate feeling off. It's correct on my end. I'll try to figure out a better way to sync the feeds for these tutorials.

Note: If you DON'T know, you can go to your user settings, and THEN go cmd+O and it will open a window to open a XML user settings file. You can then click and drag anything you want FROM my user settings, and drag it into YOUR user settings. Have at it.
