A video blog with information about the Panasonic DVX200
and other sound accessories to use with this fantastic camera.
While I mention two ways I get omni-directional sound from a connected Lav Mic and a highly directional shotgun microphone. I also neglected that the DVX200 has a Dolby Digital built in stereo mic. When you want to capture more ambient but somewhat directional sound. So I can switch between these three sources at any point in time to capture exactly what kind of sound source I need at any given time. I neglected to cover the side panel controls for switching between these mics but I wanted to highlight how you can create a very light simple rig that can do a lot of things with recording good sound. I apologize for not using a microphone at the time. Oh well its clear at least.
