Welcome to my review of Weihenstephaner's Heffweissbier Dunkel! In this video, we take a closer look at one of Germany's most iconic beers, and explore the history and tradition behind the Weihenstephan Brewery.

As the oldest brewery in the world, dating back to 1040, Weihenstephaner has a long and storied history. Located on the grounds of the Weihenstephan Abbey in Bavaria, the brewery is known for producing a range of traditional German beers, including wheat beers, lagers, and bocks.

The Heffweissbier Dunkel is a particularly special beer from Weihenstephaner. Made with a combination of barley malt, wheat malt, and hops, and fermented with a special yeast strain, this dark wheat beer is known for its rich, malty flavour and aromas of banana, clove, and toasted bread.
