Produced by Dil Raju, Sirish under Sri Venkateswara Creations and PVP Cinema. The film stars Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna. The music is composed by Thaman S, cinematography is handled by Karthik Palani and editing by Praveen K. L..
Thunivu (transl. Fortitude)[1] is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language action thriller film written and directed by H. Vinoth, and produced by Boney Kapoor. It stars Ajith Kumar and Manju Warrier, with Samuthirakani, Mamathi Chari and Ciby Bhuvana Chandran in supporting roles. The film was tentatively titled as AK61 (actor’s 61th film in a leading role) on Feburary 2022. Later the title of the film was officially announced as Thunivu on 21 September 2022 along with the first look poster of the film.
Principal photography commenced in April 2022 and ended in October 2022, taking place in Hyderabad and Bangkok. The post-production works of the film began on late-October and was completed in the month of December. The film is scheduled to release theatrically on 12 January 2023, in the week of Pongal.
