The newest entry to the Double Dragon Franchise but this time it has borrowed some gameplay elements from Secret Base's earlier title known as Streets of Red: Devil's Dare Deluxe. The similarities include multiple special KOs for food drops, non-linear stage select design, two endings, warning sound effect and the difficulty slider on many categories.

So for this playthrough, I used the default settings, level 3 out of 5 on all categories which I'll call it as "all 3/5 stats".

The game is a roguelike so expect random power-ups every playthrough, expect different minor end of level battles in every playthrough too.

So there are 13 characters and the two I've chosen were Billy and Marian, as it turns out both of them are very good and easily a top 4 in the game.

Billy with special point reduction upgrades can spam a lot of special attacks in a short sequence, grounded/aerial soaring dragon and diving dragon work very well together and if used effectively can instantly restore SP by abusing the Crowd Control SP heal perk.

Marian has the best burst damage special in the game and does a very good job at not dying thanks to its long range pistol.
