Istana Nurul Iman Palace is the largest house globally, located near the capital of Brunei. It is the official residence of the 29th Sultan of Brunei, Hassanal Bolkiah. The palace has 1,788 rooms, including 257 bathrooms and 44 marble staircases. It also has a banquet hall that can accommodate up to 5,000 guests, parking space for 110 cars, an air-conditioned stable for 200 polo ponies, five swimming pools, and a mosque that can accommodate 1,500 people. The palace is often at the center of state occasions and royal hospitality. It took two years to build the palace, and its current estimated value is more than Rs 2,550 crores.
