Everyone wants to look back at the end of their life and say they lived it to the fullest, making an impact on the lives of the people who mattered the most. Everyone wants to live with intention, proactively doing the things that matter most to build the life they dream of. Yet few people do that. In the fast-paced world we live in most people live reactively to the fire of the day, the immediate need that feels like it needs to be addressed. Because of that most people are unfulfilled and feel like there must be more to life than where they are right now. Most people have a vague idea of what they want in life or what they feel like their purpose is but they don’t consciously work to connect to that purpose daily. Therefore, most people do things that are counterproductive to their long-term goals or vision. By working with top performers in multiple industries, with former pro athletes and by studying what separates the best of the best from everyone else we can see that a key separating factor is in how connected someone is to their purpose. When we are connected to our purpose in the present we make better decisions for our future, we live with perspective, and we can powerfully pursue our potential to make an impact on the world and the lives of those around us.
