Operation Market Garden was Field Marshal Montgomerys audacious plan to end the Second World War by Christmas 1944.

The plan involved dropping 3 Allied Airborne Divisions, 2 American, the 101st and 82nd and 1 British the 1st Airborne Division with Polish Paras attached deep into German occupied Holland.

But, in this video today, we are going to follow one units tale, a British Airborne unit, the 2nd Parachute Battalion commanded by Lieutenant Colonel John Frost. They were the only battalion to reach their objective, the men of this battalion have reached near godlike status in the airborne world for their heroics during the operation.
