Hi!! I'm Dr. Sheila Farhang, better known as "Dr. Sheila Derm," a board-certified dermatologist and double fellowship-trained cosmetic and skin cancer surgeon. In this video, I give you guys a glimpse into what a “day in the life” of a dermatologist is like. I have my own private practice, Avant Dermatology & Aesthetics, so I see a wide variety of patients from skin cancer checks, acne, eczema, hair loss, cosmetics, and surgeries. During the video, you’ll see me prep and give a media interview for live TV in the morning and then head to my practice to inject filler, perform a non-surgical nose job, inject PRP for hair regrowth and read pathology slides during my skin cancer surgeries (don’t worry, no blood!). I also give you a tour of my dermatology practice showing you my sample closet filled with drugstore products I give to my patients for dry skin, acne, etc. There are definitely some early mornings and late nights as a practice owner but I wouldn’t change it for the world!! I’m so excited to bring you along my days—hope you enjoy!!
