In this present world, its very rare to find a true Brahmin. Since, the pursuit of material wealth, power, and personal gain often takes precedence over spiritual growth and selfless service. As a result, individuals who embody the true essence of a Brahmin, with their focus on knowledge, service, and spiritual growth, are indeed rare to find. Nonetheless, there are still individuals in every generation who strive to embody these qualities and uphold the ideals of a true Brahmin.
The qualities essential for someone to be considered a true Brahmin, regardless of their birth or caste or social status, but by one's actions and virtues has been given in the sastra.

Bhagavad Gita As It Is 18.42
शमो दमस्तप: शौचं क्षान्तिरार्जवमेव च ।
ज्ञानं विज्ञानमास्तिक्यं ब्रह्मकर्म स्वभावजम् ॥ ४२ ॥

śamo damas tapaḥ śaucaṁ
kṣāntir ārjavam eva ca
jñānaṁ vijñānam āstikyaṁ
brahma-karma svabhāva-jam

Translation:
Peacefulness, self-control, austerity, purity, tolerance, honesty, knowledge, wisdom and religiousness – these are the natural qualities by which the brāhmaṇas work.

Śrimad Bhagawatam 4.21.37
मा जातु तेज: प्रभवेन्महर्द्धिभि-
स्तितिक्षया तपसा विद्यया च ।
देदीप्यमानेऽजितदेवतानां
कुले स्वयं राजकुलाद् द्विजानाम् ॥ ३७ ॥

mā jātu tejaḥ prabhaven maharddhibhis
titikṣayā tapasā vidyayā ca
dedīpyamāne ’jita-devatānāṁ
kule svayaṁ rāja-kulād dvijānām

Translation:
The brāhmaṇas and Vaiṣṇavas are personally glorified by their characteristic powers of tolerance, penance, knowledge and education. By dint of all these spiritual assets, Vaiṣṇavas are more powerful than royalty. It is therefore advised that the princely order not exhibit its material prowess before these two communities and should avoid offending them.
