UN Women Aotearoa New Zealand and the United Nations Association of New Zealand joined together to bring you this webinar on family violence during a pandemic.
This webinar focused on family and intimate partner violence, with particular reference to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The panel included Dr Ang Jury, Chief Executive of Women’s Refuge, Jan Logie MP, Parliamentary Under-Secretary to the Minister of Justice (Domestic and Sexual Violence Issues), Mele Wendt MNZM, White Ribbon Ambassador, and Superintendent Eric Tibbott, National Manager Prevention New Zealand Police.
