The department of correctional services conducted a surprise prison raid at the Johannesburg Correctional Centre “Sun City” prison. The raid, conducted by the police and national task team from the department, found and removed numerous contraband hidden either behind toilet seats, under bed mattresses, television set and inside pillowcases.
