ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. (WSBT) 8/7/23: The county coroner has filed this latest suit against Praxis Landmark Recovery after three deaths and an overdose in one week in early July.
The coroner is hoping to get surveillance video from the facility. She requested videos from the hallways and bedrooms along with admission documents, medical clearance, suicide watch guidelines, and security protocol.
According to state law, the coroner has the power to issue subpoenas and ask witnesses to testify, if it's connected with their office's death investigations.
