James webb telescope reached its destination 1.5 million kilometer away from the earth called the Second lagrange point.
These Lagrange points in space can be used by spacecraft to reduce fuel consumption needed to remain in position.

Named after the james webb, the former administrator of Nasa, who ran the space agency from 1961 to 1968 during the apollo moon program.
It touted as the successor, to the hubble space telescope.
Budget of james webb telescope is about 10 billion dollars and took almost 25 years to built this complex machine.
It considered as the biggest space telescope ever and it was an engineering marvel.
After years of delay, the james webb space telescope finally launched on december 25,2021 from french guiana.
