We're putting this out as a reminder to our residents to be mindful of any caller who request that you send them money immediately claiming that a loved on is in danger. This happened to an elderly resident earlier this week in St. Louis County. The victim sent the caller money, but a family member was able to stop the delivery before it was received by the scammer.
