Indonesia is the largest island country in the world, with thousands of islands. One of the largest islands in the country is Sumatra. In this video series we travel around West Sumatra, the land of Minangkabau and Mentawai people, with volcanoes, rainforests, wild beaches, lakes, and valleys.

Mentawai Islands are an off-the-beaten-path tropical paradise, mostly known as one of the best surfing destinations in the world. Sipora is one of the Mentawai's main islands. In this video, you can follow us on another boat trip to the small neighboring islands north of Sipora. This time, we will visit an amazing mangrove lagoon on one of the islands, under the equatorial rain. Finally, we will leave the Mentawai Islands and will back to Padang- the end of our journey around West Sumatra.
