This is my cover of Frusciante's bedroom lick from the VPRO documentary. There was a beginning section I found that was in addition to the original one I knew. This is my cover of both sections. I do not own this music in any way shape or form. This is a cover for educational purposes.
After many requests I have made a tab for the first part of Frusciante's ditty. I am not making a tab for the second part because Dave Simpson has already done a fantastic job of making a walk through lesson video of that portion ([ Ссылка ]). My only gripe with Dave's video is that I do not think the ending chord is an E Major, I think he just plays the root and 5th of the E chord. Please go watch Dave, he is a genius and a wonderful teacher.

I have 4 points I want to mention though.
1. The second chord that Frusciante is playing in the fast section...I am not 100% sure on this chord. I originally played a Eb9 without the Eb root up on the 16th fret (which is apparently a Gm7b5). But I am pretty sure that I was wrong in my video. I think the chord is a Gbmaj7#11 which is what is shown in the tab. Let me know what you guys think, but I'm pretty sure that is right.
2. Also, as you probably have seen in the Frusciante video there is a messed up section in the tape and who knows what he actually played, so I kinda just made up what I thought it could be.
3. The Gm7. John frequently will fret a chord but only hit the root note on the first beat, he does that here some as well. Just keep in mind, you want to fret the whole chord, but you might choose to only hit the root note as the tab shows.
4. In the recording from the VPRO documentary, John's guitar is tuned a 1/4 step down from standard and then just a smidge further flat.
