With his current designs for Calvin Klein at New York Fashion Week, Francisco Costa presents cozy outfits in cool Bohemian looks. The Creative Director focuses on calf-length knitted dresses as well as on furry mohair coats and proves again that Calvin Klein doesn't stand for minimalist design any longer. Instead of buttons, oversize pins threaded with big plastic beads were used for the furry coats which are combined with dark matching skirts and thick over seams in color blocking looks. The pleated looking skirt is definitely a must-have for upcoming season! Dark colored sleeveless dresses made of patchwork-like coarse knit fit perfect to the shown coats. At first sight, the Calvin Klein collection mainly seems to show coarse silhouettes -- but a closer look proves the designer's love for details: Woven sequins, eye-catching seams in different nuances and designs in orange-, red- and beige-color with semitransparent fabrics cause a diversity of looks. Opulent accessories like silver chains underline the Calvin Klein woman's feminity even though her look reminds of the 90's grunge era: Calf-length combat boots create a slightly edgy, street look. However, she is no Courtney Love look-alike -- the look simply underlines her cool attitude. Since 2001, Francisco Costa is the Women's Creative Director of Calvin Klein.
