I worked on the fire regeneration tapestry. I talked some about my frustration with weaving this for various reasons and also about when I decide to forge on because I don’t know how it will look until I do so. “Working in series” or “Learning Experience” tapestries are useful! There were issues with value and also with a complicated part of the design.
I'm doing these broadcasts during the stay-at-home orders for COVID-19 in the USA and around the world. In this episode I worked on the Cameron Peak Fire regeneration tapestry, talked about my frustration with it for various reasons and also mentioned the importance of forging on because sometimes we don't know what we don't know until we try it. Mirrix loom, 20/6 cotton seine twine warp, weaversbazaar 18/2 wool for weft.
