A team from the Uganda Human Rights Commission has visited the MP for Mukono Municipality Betty Nambooze in hospital after her lawyers petitioned the commission seeking her immediate release.
Nambooze was arrested last week to answer questions in relation to the death of MP Ibrahim Abiriga earlier this month.
