Aiken County has continued to enjoy success in attracting new and expanding economic development. Bridgestone/Firestone announced the single largest investment in the State’s history ($1.2 billion) with the expansion of its passenger tire plant and construction of a new off-road radial tire manufacturing facility. Other companies such as MTU and Kimberly Clark continue investing in their Aiken County facilities because of our business-friendly policies and solid workforce. Also, Aiken County continues to invest in the future of the community with the development of the new Aiken County Government Center.
