December has arrived, which means its Christmas Market season! December 4th would see The Railway Touring Company run their 'Lincoln Christmas Market' charter from Kings Cross to Lincoln and return, hauled by Black 5 44871.
A short by sweet video sees the 5 powering out of the tunnel at Hadley Wood, putting on its paces towards its next pickup at Potters Bar. The winter sun looked great on the engine, but was in the wrong place in terms of my filming spot! One of the best performances I've seen from steam at this location nontheless.
