i decided to install new polyurethane leaf spring bushings in the s10, beings the original rubber ones were shot, a fairly easy task, right? after removing the springs i found out the mains were no good, then i found a broken lower leaf and a main, so off to the junkyard to find some useable ones, it took 3 trips to get what i needed, what a bunch of fun...
this 1993 s-10 aka "project blackie" is being built cheveefarmer style, from the weeds to the drag strip.
i am installing a 406 small block chevrolet engine backed by a 4l80E overdrive transmission, and a rare factory 8.5 / 8.6 10 bolt rear end. all were shown in previous vids, so check them out. plans are to drive this truck to the track and drag race it, hitting the 9 second range is the goal, will it do it? watch and see LOL
