NORTH BEND, Ohio (WKRC) - An apartment building was shut down and its residents were forced out after it was declared a nuisance. Law enforcement officers were at the building on Miami Road in North Bend Friday morning to oversee the operation.
Officials with the Hamilton County prosecutor's office said two people had recently been found dead in the building. Law enforcement officers also said a number of people complained about drug activity at the building leading to several police runs.
Eleven residents were escorted out of the building. They were given information about getting help from the Red Cross for temporary housing.
Deputies and firefighters boarded up the building.
The matter will go before a judge in the near future.
