Discover the rich science embedded within traditional stories. Learn how Indigenous Ways of Knowing and contemporary science together can create a more inclusive view of all that is science. During the session we will explore Cherokee stories and how they exemplify environmental observations and knowledge passed through generations. Talk with NC educators who are working to decolonize science in a variety of settings, and learn about the benefits it can bring to your own educational programs.
