I owned a Dallas Arbiter Fuzz Face in 1969 and thought it was pretty cool. My experiences of other fuzzes from then and earlier (Maestro and Tonebender and so forth) is that they were bloody horrible and hearing some "accurate" reissues just confirms my memories. Having said all that this Foxx pedal - from the '70s don't forget - is absolutely tremendous. If there were a reissue in a small enclosure with a 9 volt power socket I would steal money to buy it....well of course I wouldn't but you know what I mean. To my mind and ears this is a great fuzzbox. Thanks to Gareth for the loan
