This video is a short demonstration of ham radio digital modes QSO with JS8Call. The QSO was with Gil F4WBY the Radio Prepper, and Julian oh8stn using am early version of JS8Call. Since I had Gil F4WBY at the other end of the radio, I wanted to open the discussion of using #JS8Call for grid down communications after a disasters, using this QSO as a test bed for the station and mode.

JS8Call is a new weak signal digital mode being used for slow but effective communications via HF Radio. it's narrow bandwidth capabilities make it the perfect Communications method, duringpoor propagation, when forced to use lower output levels, and during this low in the solar cycle. Testing JS8Call with Gil #F4WBY, allows us to open the discussion when using this very efficient commo for grid down preparedness, prepping, survival, shtf, or any number of natural disasters we might find ourselves in, in the world today.
