The CP plus control panel for the Truma Combi and Truma air conditioning systems makes camping even more comfortable. This video shows the three most important aspects for creating the perfect climate in your vehicle. It's not only about heating and cooling the room air in your caravan or motor home – there are also new comforts with regard to hot water.
1. Setting the exact temperature (0:21)
With the new CP plus you can set your desired room temperature accurately in 1 °C increments. In the past, you could only do this in steps. For example, level 3 was about 22 °C, but now you can enter the exact temperature on the control panel.
The first step to guaranteeing this kind of precision is to measure the existing temperature. But since there can be a few degrees difference in different parts of the vehicle, the new CP plus lets you calibrate the temperature sensor accordingly.
You can also set the fan power to suit your needs. The levels Eco, High, Boost, together with the circulation function, let you choose greater heating power or low noise and energy efficiency. The Boost function heats the vehicle up about 15% faster.
2. Hot water is available sooner and for longer (0:50)
This is achieved with a special boost function that allows water to be heated quickly and precisely. The water is heated for 40 minutes, before the water temperature is kept at the higher level for two re-heating cycles. This means that you can shower for longer and don’t have to wait so long.
3. Perfect timing (01:30)
You can also set all the functions with the new time switch. For instance, you can coordinate lowering the night-time temperature with the boost function for hot water so that you can enjoy a good night's sleep in a cool vehicle and have hot water for showering as soon as you wake up.
