The Global and National Security Institute's GNSI Tampa Summit 2, featuring the 8th Great Power Competition Conference (GPC8), focuses on the history, the challenges and the "Future of and Ethics of Uncrewed and Autonomous Warfare."
This two-day conference will focus on the specific threats confronting U.S. National Security from the exponential advances in drone technology, UAVs, unmanned systems, uncrewed platforms and other autonomous weapon systems over the past 20 years. Commanders on the ground are grappling with a new era of warfare. But the use of these autonomous and semi-autonomous systems brings its own dilemmas, challenges and questions. GNSI Tampa Summit 2 and GPC 8 will probe the future use and ethical considerations surrounding the use of these new and increasingly-relied upon systems.
