Reform Elementary and Pickens County High School are providing Chromebooks and lunches for students as they return to remote learning for the next two weeks.
The schools plan to go virtual due to COVID-19 exposure among staff members.
The option of virtual learning has always been a part of the school’s plan to keep its students and faculty safe.
“We have worked so hard to get remote learning established… it was not a matter of if this happened in our schools, it was going to be when it happened,” said Jamie Chapman, Superintendent of Pickens County schools.
