An incessant rains continue to batter, Kerala is set to open gates of several dams in the red alert zone. At least 26 people have been killed in floods in the state after heavy rains caused rivers to overflow, cutting off towns and villages. Meanwhile, IMD has predicted more rainfall in the state.
