I’ve had a brilliant day today, despite not sleeping all that great and leaving Club La Santa at 6am, I managed to complete my first sea swim in my new HUUB wetsuit and I did so in a time that exceeds what I expected – the aim on the day is to go slightly slower and finish feeling comfortable.

Just after breakfast we headed over to El Golfo for a nice and easy 50km round trip. If you watch the video….check out the trees…the wind was the toughest I’ve encountered and the reason I guess why previous competitors talk about the wind so much.
Felt comfortable and happy on the bike… which is now just having a slight tune up prior to the drop off Friday… I also registered….
[With everything ready, new friends made…I understand why the sport attracts so many repeat athletes…when you find the right crowd of people – they open their arms and share all]
Anyways, just a couple days left, we have the briefing tomorrow and I’m planning to do another swim first thing.

What Is An Ironman Triathlon?
