New grey belt data layers are now live in VU.CITY. The grey belt data can be found under “transport” and “planning” in the platform data menu. Watch the video to see some of the new and updated data layers.

Labour recently unveiled their new plans for housing on 'grey belt' sites. In a bid to create more affordable housing, this new category will include "poor-quality scrubland", such as poor quality land, car parks, wasteland and disused petrol stations.

We've recently updated our Parking Bays Points, Parking Bay Polygons, Industrial Sites and Car Parks data layers in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Nottingham, all data visualisation points that'll be useful for identifying and building upon these grey belt sites.
