Today I prep my steel mountain bike frame for painting. Since I don't have a sandblaster to prep the frame in the optimal way, I'm using Emory cloth to sand down the surface of the frame. Then I'm cleaning off any oils with grease and wax remover. Then I'm spraying primer.
After what I show in the video, I'm going to go over the frame with some Scotch Brite and then spray another coat of primer. Then in the next video, we'll do the wacky multiple-color spray paint job using spray.bike! Who's excited?
