Dove Cottage & St Oswald’s Church in Grasmere - a walk through the home, hearth and final resting place of Poet Williams Wordsworth.

Dove Cottage, where he lived with his wife and sister from 1799 to 1808, is preserved as it was during his lifetime. This is where Wordsworth wrote much of the poetry he is famous for, including Daffodils.

Wordsworth rests in peace some miles away at St Ostwald’s Church with rest of his family.
