when I went to move my boat out of storage, the outdrive went all the way up. when I got it in place and went to lower, the outdrive would not go down no matter how many times I pressed the button or held it. so I got my wife to hold the button. I used WD-40 and light sanding to make sure the outdrive rods or lubricated and smooth. as she held the button, I push down the outdrive and it's slowly went down. now it works again smoothly up and down.
