Heres a look at my homebrew 12v antenna rotator. Its built as light as possible to work portable on a lightweight roach pole.
The whole project took a day to assemble from various parts, some old, some new.
main parts used in this project..
3 x 1.5 inch couplers
1 x 1.25 inch adaptor "to fit mast"
A short 1.5 inch tube
2 x 1 inch couplers.. "Removed ridge inside to make them slip over 1 inch tube"
A short length of 1 inch tube.
1 x 12v 6RPM 38mm diameter geared motor "amazon"
1 x 6mm brass coupler "to fit on motor output shaft" Ebay
1 x 10mm socket
1 x speed controller "ebay"
