The Government has introduced new rules on self-isolation. These will affect close contacts of positive cases, and will be different depending on vaccination status.
However, the message remains that anyone with Covid symptoms should call 111, and isolate for 10 days if they test positive.
The new rules will come into effect Thursday 30th September.
Ros Astengo caught up with the Director of Public Health Dr Helen Carter, and asked her why self-isolation rules were being relaxed just as students have returned to the classroom.
