Staff Side JCM appeals Prime Minister to settle CG Employees demands
• JCM Staff Side wrote a letter to Prime Minister duly congratulating him for re election and request to settle the long pending demands of CG Employees.
• The same letter is forwarded to Minister of State for Personnel PG & pension on the same day requesting his consideration.
• For the last two decades, JCM scheme has been completely diluted and meeting are not place as per its constitution. JCM scheme needs to be strengthened at all levels by ensuring regular meetings and solving the problems.
• 12 lakhs civilian posts are lying vacant. Take a policy decision to fill up all the vacant posts.
• Withdraw the National Pension system and restore old pension scheme.
• Withdraw the decision of corporatisation of 222 years old Indian Ordinance factories. The employees retain the status of Defence civilian employees as CG employees till their retirement.
• To constitute 8th Pay Commission since next revision is due from 1.1.2026 .
• To release 18 months DA arrears to CG employees & pensioners.
• Implement various judgments to the similarly situated employees, Grant of notional increment to those retired/retiring on the last working day of June/December.
• 100% compassionate appointment by removing the 5% ceiling limit.
• Grant compassionate appointment to the wards of victims during COVID
• Restoration of commuted portion of the pension after completion of 12 years.
• Enhancement of pension of 5% once in every five years as per the Standing committee recommendations.
• Enhance the insurance coverage to Rs.15 lakhs under Group Insurance Scheme to Group C employees.
• Establish CGHS wellness Centre in all district and strengthen the CGHS duly empanelling more Multi speciality hospitals and revising rates regularly.
• Restoration of Railway concession to the senior citizens
• A delegation of the staff side may be permitted to meet in person.
